This tournament is a tribute to the memory of Gil Martin, who passed away on July 10, 2005.
Gil was very involved in LMHA; he was a dedicated member for over seven years. Gil coached in all divisions and worked diligently as a Board Member. Gil firmly believed motivation, a positive healthy attitude and effective communication to be intrinsic elements of quality instruction, and ultimately success in sports and life.

In honour of Gil’s philosophy, and his vision of helping kids, we are proud to support the Foundry Langley, which offers young people, aged 12-24 and their families/supporters, free and confidential access to mental health and substance use support, primary care, peer support and social services.
